EDUCATION
Child Sponsorship –To date over 500 students have been sponsored under the programme, being assisted with school fees, stationery, and uniforms, and some also receive food hampers to ensure they obtain holistic support in their academic endeavors. Students incorporated in the programme are from varying levels, primary, secondary up to tertiary level.
Schools Infrastructural Development – Schools in rural areas are assisted with renovating their buildings to provide a conducive learning environment for students. Renovations include painting, repairing floors and windows, and others are assisted with building material for their construction project.
Learning Resources – Textbooks, library books, laptops, desks, and chairs are some of the learning resources that schools benefit from. This helps to provide a level playing field for students to be able to competitively compete with students in the city as they sit for their national exams.
WATER AND SANITATION
Faced with the challenges of access to clean drinking water, this motivated our drive to drill boreholes (deep wells) at strategic community points. This has shortened the time and distance people travel to fetch water for home use.A single borehole caters for 3 or more villages.
COMMUNITY NUTRITIONAL GARDENS
Community nutritional gardens have been established where boreholes have been drilled and there is enough land to start the gardens. This is to help communities fully utilize the water and produce horticultural crops as they improve their diet as well as generate income from the gardens. This also helps bring communities together as they work as cooperatives.
Solar Powered Gardens
ADMT has also installed solar powered systems for some of the gardens. These have been allocated to the most hardworking gardens as well as those that have a bigger area to work on, in a bid to boost their production and increase income through efficiency in the watering process.
MEDICAL MINISTRY
Medical Supplies – We have partnered with rural clinics to provide basic medical supplies and also supported some their development projects in order for the community at large to receive better care and medical services.
Medical Outreach Programmes – medical outreach programmesare conducted to provide medical services and most of all immerse ourselves in the community to build relationships as well as share the love of Jesus Christ to them.
Reaching out to those living with disabilities – people living disabilities in our communities are remembered by celebrating them and reminding them that they are loved by God and made in His image. God has a purpose for their lives and as communities we need to embrace, support, and love them. Disability is not inability!!
DISASTER RELIEF
In times of severe drought or other natural disasters,ADMT seeks to assist the affected communities, whether through the provision of food, clothes, or other initiatives tohelp communities deal with their sudden loss and remind them that they are not forgotten.
