Our Dear Friends & Partners,
Greetings from Zimbabwe and the ADM team, and we hope you are all well together with your families. The later part of the year has been very busy and we would like to share with you all that has been happening.
CHRIST’S CHURCH OF THE VALLEY (ONE & ALL CHURCH) TEAM 1
Our first team from CCV now recently changed their name to One & All came and worked with Domboshawa Christian Church as well as travelled to Chipinge and were part of a renovations and construction project at Rimbi High School which was affected by Cyclone Idai which hit early in the year.
The second team from CCV/ One & All Church conducted a VBS at a primary school in Mhondoro; helped construct a toilet at Community Christian Church, taught at the Evangelism & Leadership School as well as were part of the ADMT churches conference.
ADMT CHURCHES CONFERENCE
“Unshakable Faith” was the theme of the conference as believers were challenged to remain connected to God despite the challenges we might face. Sports, games and choir competitions also made the conference enjoyable as well as the sweet fellowship among the believers.
MEDICAL OUTREACH IN CHIPINGE
Through our partnership with Nurses for the Nations we were once again able to go to Chipinge to conduct a medical outreach programme which saw 1213 people being attended to – Glory to God!!!
SAMANTHA GONZALEZ INTERNSHIP
We are so grateful that Samantha Gonzalez, a member of One & All Church in California, came and spent three months with us on an internship program that focused on special needs education. She conducted workshops for caregivers, started a buddies program for children with special needs as well as home visits which provided individual attention to assist those with special needs. We learnt so much from her in the area of assisting special needs children and we wish her well as she completes her studies in special needs education.
ADMT FIELD DAY
We took time out as the ADMT Board, staff and some church members in early November to visit the different transformational projects in Mhondoro to see, fellowship and encourage the communities we visited. We are so grateful at the doors the Lord has opened for this great work to happen.
CELEBRATING A LIFE WELL LIVED – MR. PAUL HOWELL
It is with sad hearts that we share the loss of one of our faithful ADM partners, Mr. P. Howell from Ohio, USA. We are grateful for the many years we have known him, including coming to Zimbabwe on a mission trip some years back. We pray for his family that the Holy Spirit would heal and comfort them all and continue in the faith till God calls us home. (He is seated second from left.)
